You might be wondering, “What in the name of two-stroke engines is firmware?” Well, my friend, it’s the magical software that makes your BrakeBright tick! Think of it as the brain behind the brawn, the peanut butter to your jelly, or the brake lights to your rapid deceleration (wink, wink).

Now, firmware releases are like those surprise parties you never wanted but somehow end up loving. They come with new features, bug fixes, and sometimes, a few unexpected surprises (like that one uncle who always shows up with a questionable dance move). shall we?

To upgrade your device head to BikeSafe (Github) an open source bespoke utility software and follow the instructions.

What's new?

• BikeDown Alert feature: I seriously hope that you will ever need this in real life.  If by the sheer bad luck a bike is down in a ditch for more than 5 minutes, BrakeBright will detect the bike is down and activate brake light flash briefly once every two seconds to draw attentions form the by-passers.

All other functionality remains the same (no rush to update)
